Reviewer: Limitations On SP

Pros:

Less expensive than apptix

Cons:

1) File limitation of 70mb per file (so I can forget about my powerpoint files...)
2) User setup requires admin to answer the users personal password recovery question for each user (How/why does the admin know the name of the user's favorite pet?)

Other Thoughts:

Lots of oddly imposed restrictions on the admin of the site. Apptix gives more flexibility. Why does apps4rent care what size my files are as long as I stay under quota? And why dont they script user setup so that you dont need to add a user to AD before adding them to sharepoint (2 step user creation process).
